A self proclaimed geek like me found it a bit tricky the first time I tried to change the DNS settings in Windows 7. Of course it is not a complicated process, but no one would mind an easier way to change the DNS settings especially when you are someone who would like to change the preferred DNS every now and then. As you might know, Google recently launched a public DNS service which claimed to be better than any other free DNS services like OpenDNS. They even claimed to be faster than OpenDNS. Anyway, here is a free tool that lets you change your DNS settings in a single click – DNS Jumper!
The best part about DNS Jumper is – it’s free, portable and easy-to-use. Just run the application and click on the desired DNS service button and it’ll immediately change your system DNS settings. It has pre-configures DNS settings for:
Google DNS
Open DNS
Comodo DNS
Advantage DNS
Ultra DNS
DNS 8 to 16
The rest of the options are your default DNS, Open NIC and you can set the DNS just by a single click. Other than Windows 7, it works on Windows Vista and XP too. Download DNS Jumper
